Bayberry Feline Rescue & Tnr Project

Our Mission

Bayberry Feline Rescue & Tnr Project. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 92-0852587) founded in 2022, dedicated to rescuing and providing a safe haven for animals and horses that have been abandoned, abused, or neglected. Located in Chino Hills, CA, our sanctuary offers these vulnerable animals a nurturing environment where they can heal and thrive. At Bayberry Feline Rescue & Tnr Project, every animal receives the care and compassion they deserve, with the ultimate goal of helping them reclaim their lives.

We believe that every animal or horse has the right to live free from fear, pain, and neglect. Our dedicated team provides both the physical care needed to restore their health and the emotional support to help them overcome past trauma. Whether saved from slaughter or rescued from abusive situations, we offer a sanctuary where animals and horses can trust again and enjoy the freedom they were always meant to have.

Our mission extends beyond rescue and rehabilitation to include creating a permanent sanctuary where animals and horses can live out their days in peace. We are committed to educating the public about horse welfare, promoting responsible ownership, and advocating for all equines. Guided by transparency, integrity, and compassion, we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of the animals and horses we save and inspire our community to join us in this vital mission.

The goals for all of us involved with the ongoing operations at B.A.R, is offering health, healing, trust and ultimately, forever, loving homes, through our adoptions and foster care.

How We Help

Rescue

At Bayberry Feline Rescue & Tnr Project (B.F.R.T.P), our rescue efforts focus on identifying and saving animals and horses in critical need. Whether they are abandoned, abused, or at risk of slaughter, we step in to provide immediate care and a safe environment. Our team is dedicated to giving these animals and horses a second chance, ensuring they are removed from harmful situations and brought to our sanctuary where they can begin their journey to recovery.

Rehab

Rehabilitation is a cornerstone of our mission at B.A.R. Once animals and horses arrive at our sanctuary, they receive comprehensive medical care, proper nutrition, and the attention needed to heal both physically and emotionally. Our experienced staff and volunteers work diligently to restore each horse’s health and well-being, offering them the time and care required to regain their strength and trust.

Re-Home

After rehabilitation, our focus shifts to finding each horse a loving, permanent home. We carefully assess potential adopters to ensure they are a good match, prioritizing the horse's long-term happiness and security. Our commitment is to place every rehabilitated horse into a forever home where they can continue to thrive and enjoy the life they deserve.

About Us.

Bayberry Feline Rescue & Tnr Project began in 2018 as a small animals rescue in Chino Hills, CA, and has since grown into a sanctuary for all unwanted animals and horses. Over the past years, we have expanded our mission to include a wide variety of animals, providing them with a safe and loving environment where they can heal and thrive.

Our rescue is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who pour their hearts into the care of our animals and horses. These wonderful individuals, many of whom are full-time professionals, parents, college students, and community members, devote their time and energy to feeding, saving, fostering, and rehabilitating the animals in our care. Their love and dedication are the backbone of our nonprofit, and without them, our mission would not be possible.

At Bayberry Feline Rescue & Tnr Project, we work closely with local veterinarians, trainers, and suppliers to ensure that each animal receives the best care possible. Our community involvement is crucial to our success, and we are proud to be a resource for animal welfare in our area.
